History/Founder Members

The Milking Equipment Association (MEA) was formed in 2008 out of the former Milking Machine Manufacturers Association (MMMA).

The MEA is an unincorporated Trade Association set up to promote, educate and improve best practice and standards.  Also to influence relevant dairy organisations and to represent the best interests of the UK based milking equipment manufacturers and associated equipment companies in a globally changing competitive environment.

In the past under the MMMA only manufacturers of milking machines were eligible to become members.
